Crossing out my fall bucket list | Autumn '19

by - 6:00 PM

Every year, at the beginning of each season, I create a bucket list filled with activities and goals for those particular months.
With the second to last month of the year just beginning, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to share the one I created for this autumn.

Burn fall scented candles

I think I have discovered a new passion of mine: candles. They create such a cozy feeling and make your room smell so so nice! I am in love with a fig and mulberry candle I recently bought.
Visit a pumpkin patch

One of the things that I have been wanting to do for the longest time! You can read about the whole experience and see some more beautiful pumpkin photos in my most recent post by clicking here.

Try a pumpkin spice latte

The drink that screams 'autumn'.
I have only tried it once: last year, during my trip to Paris. My friend decided to get one and I took a little sip out of it. Whilst I did not fancy it much then, I decided to give it another try this year. Needless to say that I loved it this time!

Step on crunchy leaves

Time to appreciate the beautiful brown, orange and yellow tones.

Bake apples

One of my favourite autumnal treats. Click here to see the recipe I use, taught my by mother.

Thrift on chunky sweaters

I realised that I don't have that many warm sweaters so I thought I'd go try to find some. Thrifting is a super fun activity and a good alternative to fast fashion. It is both wallet and environmentally friendly!

Carve a jack-o-lantern

After collecting some pumpkins at the pumpkin patch, it was time to get creative and jump into the Halloween mood. Which one do you prefer?

Drink hot cocoa

This cup of deliciousness will always be one of my favourite autumn beverages. And I discovered a machine at my university that makes the yummiest one ever!

After working and saving up money during summer, I finally got to buy my first professional camera this September. This photo was one of my first attempts at night photography and good practice for learning how to use the manual settings.

Cozy up bedroom

Nothing better than to create your own relaxed and comfortable safe space.

Dress up for Halloween

This year was my first time properly celebrating Halloween so I recognise I went big! I dressed up as a mermaid and my boyfriend as a captain (how cute?!). I also bought these blue contact lenses that made my eyes so incredibly vibrant and cool! And it was quite fun to experience having blue eyes.

Make smores

Desperate times call for desperate measures? Well, this was our set up for making smores. Honestly? Worked wonders! Not too big of a mess and the smores were done pretty quickly. And they were delicious!

Have the perfect autumnal morning

The most relaxed Sunday I have had in quite a while. Woke up without an alarm. Got ready at my own pace. Went for a slice of banana bread and a warm latte at a cafe. Followed by some thrifting. The perfect slow autumnal morning, in my opinion.

And this is my fall bucket list 2019!
I am so glad I got to experience so many seasonal activities this autumn.
